Parents and guardians interested in enrolling their child in VISDโs Tuition-Based Pre-K program may apply through the VISD Application Hub during the priority window - March 1 through March 15. Students who apply during this period will be considered first for available seats.
Pre-K plays a critical role in a childโs educational journey by building a strong foundation for future learning. Early childhood education supports cognitive growth, social development, and early literacy and math skills. Students who participate in high-quality Pre-K programs enter kindergarten better prepared academically and socially, helping set them on a path toward long-term success.

The Tuition-Based Pre-K Priority Application opens Saturday, March 1. Applications submitted after March 15 will be accepted on a space-available basis; however, placement is not guaranteed once priority seating has closed. Families will receive notification of acceptance into the Tuition-Based Pre-K program the week of March 23, 2026.
Families enrolling students who are new to VISD for the 2026โ27 school year will be able to complete online registration beginning April 1, 2026, by visiting www.visd.net/registration.
