Victoria Independent School District will host its State of the District event on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, at the Victoria Fine Arts Center, located at 1002 Sam Houston Dr., Victoria, TX 77901. The event will begin with hors d’oeuvres at 11:15 a.m., followed by the State of the District presentation at 12:00 p.m.
This year’s theme, “Victoria ISD’s Victories and Vision: Strong Schools. Strong Communities.”, will highlight district achievements, student successes, and strategic initiatives shaping the future of education and building strong school communities in Victoria ISD.
Superintendent Sheila Collazo will lead the presentation, joined by VISD students who will share their experiences and perspectives on learning, leadership, and an all-around pursuit of excellence.
“The State of the District is an opportunity to celebrate our victories and highlight the vision moving forward,” said Collazo. “Strong schools fuel strong communities, and that strength begins with all of us working hand in hand. It’s about recognizing the power of our schools and harnessing this power to further strengthen our community now and for years to come.”
The event brings together district and community leaders, business partners, educators, and families to reflect on the district’s progress and its continued commitment to Achieving Excellence for All.
