Victoria East High School’s football game on Friday, October 31, will take place at Frost Field at Memorial Stadium. With the game falling on Halloween, students and fans will be allowed to wear costumes in the stands.
To maintain a safe environment for all spectators, Victoria ISD has established the following guidelines:
Costumes are permitted, but no masks or full-face coverings will be allowed.
Fake or toy weapons of any kind are prohibited, regardless of material or appearance.
Any costume accessory that conceals a person’s identity or poses a safety concern is not allowed.
Face paint will be permitted, and fans are encouraged to dress up in the spirit of the night while keeping safety in mind. Items that do not meet these guidelines must be discarded or stored in vehicles before entry.
“Student and spectator safety is always our priority,” the district noted. “We’re excited to support a fun game atmosphere while making sure our protocols keep everyone protected.”
The district looks forward to a spirited Halloween game in a safe and family-friendly environment.
